Dr. Tessler was born and raised in New Jersey, but bought a one-way ticket to California in 1992, and is still enamored with the west coast. Dr. Tessler graduated from UC Davis in 2002. After two years in a private practice, she decided to continue her education by completing an intensive internship in small animal emergency medicine at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center. After working an additional year as an emergency clinician, she rejoined day practice at El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2006. Dr. Tessler feels privileged to be part of the ECVVH team.
