Shelby George
Shelby joined Dr. May and the Equine Department of El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2009. Animals have been a huge part of Shelby's life since she was a little girl and fueled her desire to make them a part of her career. Shelby began riding horses at the age of 5, she has been a 4-H member for 13 years, was an FFA member while in highschool and was involved with her highschool horse judging team. While involved in 4-H and FFA Shelby raised both Pygmy Goats and Rabbits, something she still does today. Shelby is now a 4-H Leader, using her knowledge to help the next generation of animal lovers. In her free time Shelby enjoys spending time with her family at the desert and river, or riding at the barn! She says she loves being with animals and making a difference in their lives.
